Upcoming English Premier League Prediction

There are 20 teams for the 2020-21 premier league season which are confirmed. The new season is almost here and we are issuing our predictions for the standings. The predictions are quite difficult to make as Fulham, Leeds United and West Brom have their spots back in the premier league. The English premier league Prediction 2020-21 is appearing in a few days from now because of all the amendments in the schedule. 

Once the transfer windows are closed, there may be a heat up and a lot of things can change with these 20 teams. It is thought-provoking that the teams who finished the 2019-20 season in the most zealous form can carry the same into the start of next season. 

Manchester City and Liverpool, the champions will be the frontrunner to win the premier league title. For the remaining two champions league spots, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham will fight it out. These teams are rebuilding and not close to the title contenders, even though Man United is closer than the other three. 

With a very short turnaround between two seasons of 2019-20 and 2020-21, it is not easy to see how three newly promoted teams can catch on. The predicted 2020-21 premier league position at a glance as per the chief football writer Phil McNulty can be –

In the last two seasons of Champions league, Liverpool has gathered the winning. It may not be easy to retain the premier league but Liverpool has the mental strength and is without any obvious weaknesses. They can be very close for this season. 

Manchester City was not that tough in the last season to win the title. Phil Foden will be seen more in this season although David Silva will be missed. The calculations can be altered this time and there is a chance of becoming champions this time. 

Chelsea has spent heavily this year to include prominent talent like Timo Werner. It will be exciting and fascinating to see how these outstanding resources are used. They may not be the title winners but are a great bet for a cup. 

Manchester United can possibly be in the top 4 again as the last season but will not be anywhere near Liverpool. Their attack may be top class but the three semi-final defeats in the last season may cause mental weakness. 

Tottenham will struggle for the top four and will show they still got what it takes. For Arsenal, the predictions can get difficult as they are in a battle for another cup and a respectable run in the Europa League. 

These English premier league predictions may be revised after the closing of the transfer window but for now, the predictions look like the table mentioned above.
